Been very busy during the week, but here comes the story of my last weekend! Me and 9 others squeezed into a bumpy jeep and went out to the worlds biggest sand island. Even the rainforest grows on sand, weird but absolutely amazing!!! The beach serves as a designated highway, as far as I'm concerned it's the only highway where people stand fishing in the middle of it!? We got to see lots of amazing places throughout the weekend BUT my camera wasn't properly charged and died before the first day was over.... :(
Unfortunately all of my favourites was during the second day, but I'll try and explain a little bit about it! The island is leaking freshwater so the beach is full of creeks leading out in the ocean! The one beneath is a little bit special, as it contains tee tree oil from some trees, said to be really good for your skin and is really expensive to buy, we had a swim for free! They sometimes call it the CocaCola creek, simply because of the colour! We also went to a lake full with this oil for an even better swim!
On the second day we had a walk through the rainforest, and spotted the homes of Australia's most deadly spider, before our bumpy ride got even bumpier as we headed for Lake McKenzie! A lake full of absolutely pure rainwater sourronded by completely white ancient sand. Heaven on earth as our guide showed us a hidden bay from the mainbeach. Free from all the japanese people we had the entire beach to ourselve and for a few hours time stood still!!

Our bumpy jeep! Sat along the walls in the back pushing yourself down in the seat not to hit your head on the soft and bumpy sandroads!! Great fun and many laughs |

The beach was litterally covered in jelly fish!! |

On top of Indiana Head, from where we spotted turtles, whales, dolphins and sting rays! Sadly I missed the shark! |

Dingoes, kind of like dogs that sounds like wolfs, and often attack kids! |
