At work today we got travelling passes for the metro and the buses and so we went shopping for food in the evening. After about two hours we walked out with eleven bags hoping nothing was forgotten! Shopping in a store full of groceries with English labels is much much harder than you may think, especially when what you're looking for is hidden in a can and not a glass jar or the other way around! In the end we managed pretty well and at least we won't have to starve! :)
Work today wasn't too exciting but yet a bit interesting! Was in a long long corporate induction together with lots of new employees, I know now lots of stuff about the company, most that I already knew...
Tonight I'm going to an area by the river called South Banks which is said to be really nice, it'll be the first real part of town that I see other than the closed shopping centre where we bought food yesterday! That's a really stupid thing about Australia, everyone works from 8.30 - 17.00, including the shop assistans, which means when you get off work everything is closed!!
Eleven bags! I hope they are small :-)
